Sylvester Turner Election Night Watch Party

Photography by Vicky Pink - On Tuesday, November 3, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at George R. Brown Convention Center for Sylvester Turner Election Night Watch Party. It was expected that Turner would have to go into a runoff election to be Mayor of Houston and supporters were not disappointed. Turner was the highest vote getter out of the pack of opponents running for mayor. A joyful Turner thanked supporters as he encouraged them to continue to support his on this next leg of the campaign. Now Turner is set for a December 12th runoff with opponent Bill King. Some in attendance were Wanda Adams, City Controller Ronald Green, Verna Reese, State Rep. Ron Reynolds, Jerome Love, Carl Davis, Cindy Clifford, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Bishop James Dixon, and Sue Davis.
