2015 Red Cat Jazz Festival

Photography by Vicky Pink - On Sunday, May 10, 2015 Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Moody Gardens, Oleander Bowl on Galveston Island, Texas for the 2015 Red Cat Jazz Festival. The weekend of events attracted some of the biggest names in jazz including Ronnie Laws; BWB (Norman Brown, Kirk Whalum and Rick Braun); Peter White; Mike Phillips; TIZER featuring Chieli Minucci and Karen Briggs; Dean James, and trumpeters Tex Allen Tom Browne. Attendees enjoy great music and get the chance to mix and mingle with the artists up close. Some in attendance were Patti Rollins, Darian Ward, Jose Grinan, Cary Yates, and Judge Clarease Rankin Yates.
