2015 Excellence in Education Awards Finalists

On Wednesday, March 11, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Bellaire High School as H-E-B surprised teacher Michael Clark as one of the finalists for 2015 Excellence in Education Awards. Clark is one of six teachers being surprised at their schools and presented with a $1,000 check for themselves and a $1,000 check for their school. Principal finalists will be presented with $1,000 check for themselves and $2,500 check for the school before a pep-rally style student assembly. All finalists will be invited to compete against other educators for the chance to win greater cash prizes ranging from $5,000 to $25,000. Overall statewide winners will be announced in May. Over the next month, H-E-B is surprising a total of 40 finalists across the state and awarding $95,000 to principals and teachers.
