Women’s Guild 2015 Audrey H. Lawson IMPACT Awards Luncheon and Fashion Show

On Sunday, April 25, 2015, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hyatt Regency Hotel for the Wheeler Avenue Inner City Visions, Inc.’s Women’s Guild 2015 Audrey H. Lawson IMPACT Awards Luncheon and Fashion Show. Celebrating 25 years of service, the Women’s Guild gives generously to support the programs of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church (WABC) and the community. Jacquelyn Alton, Dr. Rose Austin, Dr. Heather Brown, Pastor Suzette Caldwell, Gayla Gardner, Winell Herron, and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee were honored as 2015 IMPACT award honorees with honorary chair Carolyn Guess. Some in attendance were WABC Senior Pastor Marcus D. Cosby, WABC Pastor Emeritus William A. Lawson, Women’s Guild founder Audrey H. Lawson, Women’s Guild President Irene Allen, Event Chair Diedra Fontaine, Event Co-Chairs Sharon Cushingberry and Cydonii Miles, WAICV Executive Director Rev. Preston Allen, and emcee Melanie Lawson.
