Vigil for Michael Brown Case Decision

On Sunday, November 23, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at Pilgrim Congregational United Church as Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee hosted a vigil in anticipation of the grand jury decision in the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, Missouri. Faith leaders, students, elected officials and others gathered to stand for justice. Congresswoman Lee said the vigil was to show that protest and the petitioning of government can be done nonviolently.
