Urban Souls Dance Company's 4th Annual Dancing with the Houston Stars Gala

On Sunday, May 4, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the H.E.S.S. building for the 4th Annual Dancing with the Houston Stars Gala presented by Urban Souls Dance Company. The Urban Masquerade had a dynamic cast trading in their work shoes for their dancing shoes all in the name of charity. Travis Torrence and Nakia Cooper were the big winners of the night crowned the male and female dance champs. Torrence was also named top fundraiser. Others included in the cast were Linda Lorelle, Erica Lee, Rashia Whitlock, Ayana Mack, Chris Ferguson, Ricardo McDonald, Dr. Kevin Smith, and William-Paul Thomas. Honored at the gala for their contribution to the arts were Madeleine Wright, Marlon Hall, Charnele Brown, and Christina Gerard.
