2014 City of Houston Inauguration

Photography by Vicky Pink and Roswitha Vogler - On Thursday, January 2, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Wortham Theater Center for the City of Houston Inauguration Ceremony for the Mayor, Controller, and Council Members. Along with Mayor Annise Parker and Controller Ronald Green, two women and __ men took the oath of office to service Houstonians and make Houston better. Participating in the ceremony that installed our city leaders were the Joint Honor Guard from Houston Police & Fire Departments, children from the Star of Hope Mission, Savannah Berry, Pastor Juanita Rasmus of St. John's United Methodist Church, Pastor Mia Wright of The Fountain of Praise, Chris Walker, Gwendolyn Zepeda, Reginald Smith, Jr. and Támar Davis.
