Roast and Toast for Senator Rodney Ellis

Photography by Vicky Pink - On Tuesday, April 1, 2014, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Four Seasons Hotel for the Roast and Toast for Senator Rodney Ellis in celebration of his 60th birthday. The affair benefitted the Texas Legislative Internship Program and was presented by Texas Southern University. Some in attendance were Winell Herron, Dr. Rhea Lawson, Jason Fuller, Cindy Clifford, Stephen Brown, State Rep. Sylvester Turner, State Rep. Senfronia Thompson, Constable Ruben Davis, Melanie Lawson, John Guess, State Rep. Borris Miles, James Douglas, Miya Shay, Gene Wu, Judge Zinetta Burney, Houston City Councilman Larry Green, State Rep. Dr. Alma Allen, Ursala Hall, Anthony Hall, Gerald Smith, Dr. Rod Paige, Ron Kirk, Dr. John Rudley, City of Houston Comptroller Ronald Green, and Gerald Womack.
