Friends for the Cure Lupus Awareness Event

Photography by Vicky Pink - On Saturday, May 25, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Houston Center for Photography for Friends for the Cure: A Lupus Awareness event. The charity event was hosted by Key PR Group and the Alice Wallace Foundation. In their effort to raise Lupus awareness, Key PR Group provided an evening of “Live Art, Live Music, and Live Charity”, to educate their guests about the disease.
Lupus is an autoimmune disease where the body’s immune system becomes hyperactive and attacks normal healthy tissue. Entertainment was provided by musician Ira Perez, DJ Energizer, and belly dancer Aracely Abergel. Official event sponsors included the Charles Brown Law Firm, PerFit Vision, Lord&Lord Designs, PropRock, and Amerejuve.
