Annual State of Airports Luncheon

Photography by Roswitha Vogler - On Wednesday, March 6, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Royal Sonesta Hotel for the Annual State of Airports Luncheon hosted by The Greater Houston Partnership. Mario Diaz, Director of the Houston Airport System presented the Annual State of the Airports address to the packed house of attendees. The past year has been a tremendous year for the Houston Airport System with the groundbreaking for Terminal B with partner United Airlines, the arrival of the Lufthansa A380, the announcements of Turkish Airlines and Air China, and the approval of an expanded Federal Inspection Services Facilty (FIS) by Southwest Airlines at Hobby Airport. Some in attendance were CEO of Greater Houston Partnership Bob Harvey, Julius Davis, Nathelyne Kennedy, James Simmons, Tammy Noyes, Jason Venier, Hardy Johnson, Kay Jefferson, Bob Arthur, Jarrett Simmons, Michael Andrade, Lisa Kent, The Honorable Philip Berquist, Rick Liesse, Jack Warkenthien, Dolores Rodgers, Anthony Freddie, James Donatto II, Kevin Riles, The Hon. Jose Barillas Trennert, The Honorable Georgios Papanikolaow, The Honorable Phillip A.
