CSTEM Stakeholder Breakfast

Photography by Vicky Pink - On Friday, April 5, 2013, Houston Style Magazine was on hand at the Hilton Americas Hotel for the CSTEM Stakeholder Breakfast hosted by Dr. Reagan Flowers, Founder and CEO of CSTEM. Former astronaut Dr. Bonnie Dunbar was the Keynote Speaker for the State of STEM Education address at the annual breakfast. The Stakeholder breakfast was the beginning of an exciting weekend of events hosted by CSTEM. The CSTEM Challenge and iSTEM Olympiad, a competition for students to compete in communication, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, took place at George R. Brown Convention Center. Some in attendance social studies and art through an essential theme, “Everyone is an Artist and an Engineer.” Some in attendance were Ahmad Shaheed, Charlotte Shaheed, Debra Marshall, Bo Porter, Stacy Porter, Earl Cummings, Laolu Davies-Yemitan, Jill Almaguer, Jennifer Bell, Julia Clarke, Dayni Alba, Dr. Zachary Hodges, Cristin Gamboa, and Rex Gonzalez.
