Discover Downtown Rosenberg is preparing to host the annual Food Truck Festival in Historic Downtown Rosenberg on Saturday, September 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. The family-friendly event will take place in the downtown parking lot at 2221 Avenue F. Admission and public parking are free.
This year’s festival will feature more than 25 food trucks and market vendors, offering a wide variety of options ranging from savory entrées and international cuisine to desserts, snacks, and specialty drinks. In addition to food, market booths will showcase handmade goods, crafts, and unique finds from local businesses and artisans.
New attractions are being introduced in 2025 to enhance the festival experience. The BMX Pros Trick Team will perform three high-energy stunt shows, bringing professional riders and extreme sports action to the heart of downtown. Younger attendees can enjoy the Master Bubble Wranglers’ interactive bubble show, bounce houses, train rides, yard games, and other family activities.
The festival highlights Rosenberg’s growing reputation as a destination for arts, culture, and entertainment in Fort Bend County. Known for its historic downtown district, Rosenberg is the first and only state-designated Cultural Arts District in Fort Bend County, recognized by the Texas Commission on the Arts. The area is home to art galleries, antique shops, locally owned boutiques, and popular dining spots, making events like the Food Truck Festival an opportunity to support small businesses while enjoying the city’s historic charm.
City officials note that free festivals such as this one contribute to Rosenberg’s commitment to community engagement and economic growth. By attracting both residents and visitors, the event boosts foot traffic for local merchants while showcasing the city as a vibrant hub for food, culture, and family fun.
