This Halloween, Meow Wolf Houston is set to host its first-ever Cosmic Howl, a multi-dimensional celebration blending Halloween festivities with the venue’s one-year anniversary. The event takes place on Thursday, October 31, inside the immersive world of Radio Tave.

Billed as part of Meow Wolf’s Adulti-Verse series, Cosmic Howl will feature a lineup of live performances, DJs, and roaming entertainers transforming the space into a city-sized house party. Guests can expect a set from comedic band Swimwear Dept., high-energy mixes from DJ Brandon Airlines, and surprise acts throughout the evening. A costume contest will give attendees the chance to compete for prizes decided by crowd applause.

“Cosmic Howl is a party made for Houston,” said Meow Wolf Houston General Manager Aaron Johnson. “This night is about celebrating one year of Radio Tave with the same uniqueness and energy that built it.”

The celebration runs from 8:00 p.m. to midnight and is strictly 21+ with valid ID. Specialty cocktails will be available at Cowboix Hevvven and Theta Bar, alongside snacks and other beverages.

In addition to Cosmic Howl, Meow Wolf Houston has a full schedule of October events leading up to Halloween:

• October 17 – Adulti-Verse: Halloween Drag Show (7–11 PM) hosted by Queen Persephone with DJ Brandon Airlines.
• October 19 – Family-Friendly Halloween Activities (5–7:30 PM) featuring a “not-so-scary” puppet show, trick-or-treating, and kids’ costume contest.
• October 26 – Family-Friendly Halloween Activities (4–7 PM) with Lo-Fi Puppets + Stuff, candy, and seasonal fun for all ages.
• October 31 – Cosmic Howl Party (8 PM–12 AM), the one-year anniversary celebration and Halloween blowout.
