Hermann Park Conservancy (HPC) is encouraging Houstonians to enjoy the outdoors this fall while supporting one of the city’s most cherished green spaces through two annual events: the Park to Port Bike Ride on October 25, 2025, and Run in the Park on November 8, 2025.
Now in its 11th year, the Park to Port Bike Ride, presented by Port Houston, features a 20-mile round-trip course from Hermann Park to Mason Park near the Port of Houston and back along the scenic Brays Bayou Greenway Trail. The ride concludes with a post-event celebration at the Bill Coats Bridge in Hermann Park, including refreshments, music, and activities from community partners. Helmets are required, and advance registration is recommended due to limited space.
Following the bike ride, the Run in the Park, powered by Reliant, welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels to Hermann Park’s trails on November 8. The event offers 10K and 5K runs, along with a 1K kids’ fun run. Post-race festivities include refreshments, music, and an awards ceremony celebrating top finishers and community engagement. Participants who register for both events receive a $5 discount per event.
Proceeds from both events support Hermann Park Conservancy’s ongoing mission to enhance and maintain the park’s 445 acres, funding conservation initiatives, volunteer programs, and infrastructure improvements that benefit the six million visitors who enjoy the park each year.
Registration for both events is now open at hermannpark.org/events.
