Houston’s Magical Winter Lights Returns with 45 Nights of Holiday Fun

Houston’s Magical Winter Lights is back, and this year it’s bigger and brighter than ever! Kicking off Friday, November 21, at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, the festival promises 45 nights of lanterns, live entertainment, and family fun, running through Sunday, January 4, 2026.

Spread across more than 20 acres, Magical Winter Lights transforms the fairgrounds into a sparkling winter wonderland, blending traditional Chinese lantern artistry with a Texas-sized holiday spirit. Guests will wander through dozens of towering, handcrafted light displays and whimsical themed lands, each more dazzling than the last.

New this year, visitors can enjoy an interactive petting zoo and a festive carnival, alongside returning favorites like nightly acrobatic performances, cultural Chinese vendors, and delicious holiday food and drinks. With countless photo opportunities, it’s the perfect spot to snap family holiday cards—or a magical social media moment.

Tickets are on sale now at www.MagicalWinterLights.com, with special weekday savings and bundle options. Parking is free, and the festival is fully wheelchair-accessible and stroller-friendly, making it a must-visit for families across Houston and beyond.
