In recognition of Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, McDonald’s restaurants across the Greater Houston area will honor military servicemen and servicewomen with a free breakfast or regular Extra Value Meal. The gesture is part of the brand’s continued commitment to celebrating those who have served and sacrificed for the nation.
Veterans and current members of the U.S. military are invited to visit participating McDonald’s locations to enjoy a complimentary meal by simply showing a valid Military ID. The offer is available all day — through the Drive-Thru or in-restaurant — and can be redeemed for any Extra Value Meal.

Guests can choose from McDonald’s popular options, such as the Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddles Meal at breakfast or the 10-Piece Chicken McNuggets Meal later in the day.
Observed every year on November 11, Veterans Day is a national holiday dedicated to honoring America’s military veterans — the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Originally known as Armistice Day, it commemorates the end of World War I and stands as a time to recognize courage, service, and sacrifice.
McDonald’s joins a number of Houston-area restaurants and organizations showing appreciation to the veteran community through free meals, discounts, and special events.
