Holocaust Museum Houston Honors Veterans with Free Admission Week

Special Offer Runs November 11–16 in Recognition of Veterans Day

In honor of Veterans Day, Holocaust Museum Houston (HMH) will offer free admission to all U.S. veterans, active duty service members, and their families from Tuesday, November 11 through Sunday, November 16.

The initiative reflects the Museum’s continued commitment to honoring those who have served while fostering understanding and reflection through history and human rights education. In addition to this special offer, HMH provides discounted admission year-round for active duty military personnel, while children and students ages 18 and under and college students with valid ID always receive free entry.

During their visit, military guests can explore the Museum’s Holocaust, Human Rights, Samuel Bak, and Young Diarists Galleries, as well as view ongoing Holocaust Survivor testimony films in the theater. Complimentary admission also includes access to featured exhibitions such as Unveiled: From the Vault, Growing Up Jewish – Art and Storytelling, and the newly opened Anachronous.

Located at 5401 Caroline Street in the Museum District, the Lester and Sue Smith Campus of HMH offers a fully bilingual experience in English and Spanish. The Museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., remaining closed on Mondays except for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Visitors can also enjoy The Bagel Shop @ the Museum, open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking is available in the Museum’s adjacent lot for $8 for four hours.

General admission is $22 for adults and $16 for seniors (65+), AARP members, and active duty military. Admission is free to all visitors on Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
