The newly-renovated Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa, located on 300 picturesque acres in the Texas Hill Country, has announced its “Christmas in July” travel promotion. Beginning Monday, July 14, the resort will offer exclusive discounted rates for travelers booking their 2025 holiday vacations early.

Through July 31, guests can receive 25% off standard room rates for holiday stays between November 16, 2025, and January 4, 2026. Reservations must be made through the resort’s official website by selecting travel dates within the promotional window and choosing the “Book Now and Save 25%” option.

The resort is a favorite among Houstonians, who often make the approximately three-hour drive west to San Antonio for weekend getaways and holiday vacations. Each year, over 2 million Houstonians travel to San Antonio, many by car, making it one of the most popular road trip destinations for families in the Greater Houston area.

This year’s holiday programming at Hyatt Regency Hill Country includes a Thanksgiving brunch at Springhouse Café and a holiday tree lighting ceremony with a visit from Santa on November 28. Throughout the season, guests can enjoy Friday evening “S’mores with Santa and Maple the Elf” and Saturday “Breakfast with Santa” events from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Additional family-friendly, holiday-themed activities will be available across the resort.

The celebration culminates in a family-oriented New Year’s Eve party held in the ballroom, followed by a grand fireworks display to welcome 2026.

Guests can also choose to stay in one of five new luxury villas named after Texas rivers—Guadalupe, Nueces, Brazos, San Saba, and Pecos. Each 2,336-square-foot, ranch-style villa includes four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a full kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, and two private patios with a grill, firepit, and lounge seating. Villa guests also receive personalized service from a dedicated host and full access to Windflower Spa amenities.
