Frost Bank Charitable Foundation has committed a $500,000 grant to support recovery efforts following the severe flash flooding that struck the Texas Hill Country on July 4, 2025. The funds will be directed to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund and other local initiatives aiding those affected by the disaster.

Frost Bank Market President Kevin Thompson announced the donation on behalf of the company’s Hill Country operations. The region includes a financial center in Boerne and upcoming locations in Kerrville and Fredericksburg, as well as customers across surrounding Hill Country communities.

The flash floods caused widespread damage throughout Kerr County and surrounding areas, resulting in the loss of life, property damage, and ongoing recovery challenges. The funds are intended to help residents and communities begin rebuilding and meet urgent needs.

Thompson, along with fellow Market Presidents Cayman Gentry and Kyle Orgera—who also live and work in the Hill Country—helped designate the grant. All three emphasized the importance of supporting local recovery efforts quickly and effectively.

In addition to the donation, Frost Bank will provide emergency disaster loans and is contacting impacted customers to offer temporary loan deferments where needed. The bank has a longstanding history of responding to natural disasters with financial support and relief services.

Frost, which has operated in Texas for over 157 years, maintains a commitment to aiding communities during times of crisis.
