Black Queer AF Week 2025 Expands with Star-Studded Lineup and Bold Message of Visibility

The Normal Anomaly, a leading Black LGBTQ+ organization, has unveiled the full lineup for Black Queer AF (BQAF) Week 2025, returning to Houston, Texas, from April 26 – May 4. Now in its fourth year, the festival continues to grow as a national hub for Black queer+ culture, celebration, and activism.

This year’s theme, "VISIBILITY," highlights the power of representation and resistance, offering a week of events including drag competitions, panel discussions, and a VIP yacht experience. The festival culminates in a May 3rd music festival, featuring an all-Black lineup with headliners NLE Choppa, KenTheMan, Asher HaVon, and more.

Set against the backdrop of increasing attacks on LGBTQ+ and Black communities, BQAF stands as a defiant act of joy, unity, and cultural innovation. With support from Gilead Sciences, ViiV Healthcare’s Accelerate Initiative, and other key sponsors, the festival provides a rare space where Black queer+ voices take center stage.
