Holiday Magic Shines Bright at Betsy Ross Elementary:

Daisie Foundation Leads a Celebration of Joy and Giving

The halls of Betsy Ross Elementary in Houston came alive with festive cheer on Friday, December 6, 2024, as the Daisie Foundation, in collaboration with the Houston Police Department's Greater Houston Police Athletic League (GHPAL), hosted an unforgettable Holiday Magic dance-themed party. With more than 400 students, teachers, and staff in attendance, the event turned an ordinary day into a heartwarming celebration of giving, community, and joy.

From the moment attendees stepped into the transformed school, they were immersed in a whirlwind of holiday spirit. Students received a treasure trove of surprises, including games, brand-new clothing, and Houston Astros-themed backpacks. The day reached its peak with a lively pizza party, generously sponsored by Domino’s Pizza. Teachers weren’t left out of the festivities, walking away with an assortment of cosmetics and gifts. Adding to the culinary delight, Gatlin’s BBQ provided a sumptuous lunch, filling the air with tantalizing aromas that matched the warmth of the occasion.
