Gigi Hadid may be killing Tyler Cameron's 'Bachelor' chances

(CNN) -- Plenty of viewers would like to see Tyler Cameron as the next "The Bachelor."

But he may be otherwise occupied.

Cameron, who was the runner-up on the most recent season of "The Bachelorette," has recently been spotted out with model Gigi Hadid.

The public sighting has people speculating that he moved on from Hannah Brown, whose heart he tried to win on the show, to Hadid.

It also has "Bachelor/Bachelorette" host Chris Harrison potentially dashing the dreams of Bachelor Nation. Loyal viewers of the franchise historically campaign to see "The Bachelorette" runner up become "The Bachelor."

"Is he out playing the field, is he out having a good time?," Harrison told PeopleTV's "Reality Check." "That doesn't make him a bad guy, [but] it may not make him the best 'Bachelor.'"

Neither Cameron nor Hadid have confirmed they are an item.

Brown, who ended things with winner Jed Wyatt after she found out he lied about having a girlfriend, told People she's "not really sure where things stand' between her and Cameron at the moment.

"I'm single," she said. "Dating [Tyler] is too strong of a word. I'm figuring it out."
