Lovell’s Food for Thought - Helping the Women of Puerto Rico

Reilly Garrison, Simply Fit's Hope Ambassador

SIMPLY FIT: A STUDIO FOR WOMEN, for the past months, has been teaming with Reilly Garrison, Simply Fit's Hope Ambassador, to collect feminine hygiene products to send to the beautiful women of Puerto Rico. Sanitary Napkins/Pad, Tampons, panty liners, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, small first-aid kits, small size towels, soap, shampoo, toothpaste & toothbrushes and other items these women might need.

Reilly is a high school student at St. John XXII in Katy, Texas who decided that one of her missions in life is to help the needy. When she saw what was taking place in Puerto Rico, she realized that one thing people might over look is the needs of young women, especially with regard to hygiene products. She and her mother approached Marion Jones, own of Simply Fit: A Studio for Women, about collecting such products during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Both have agreed that the needs will still be there past the month of October. And they have continued to collect items that are in need by the women of Puerto Rice.

SIMPLY FIT: A STUDIO FOR WOMEN grew out of a vision to improve the health of women, especially those who one would normally not focus on. Launched by Victoria Arevalo, today SIMPLY FIT: A STUDIO FOR WOMEN is dedicated to the improvement of health of women and led by Marion C. Jones. Marion is a retired school teacher who recognizes and support the vision of young women. With the help of Sylvia Guzman, Glenda Macal, Monique Aguilar and Jodi-Ann Bailey, the studio continues to address the needs of all women.
