The passage of Senate Bill 2190 and House Bill 43 are critical to the City of Houston's Fiscal Year 2018 Budget. The passage of these two pieces of legislation allows the City of Houston to avoid a $240 million budget shortfall that would lead to layoffs for city employees. I am dedicated to making sure the City of Houston's budget is balanced, services are not cut, and I will fight for District E residents.
