A Family Of One: Houston Astros Headed To Their Fifth Consecutive ALCS
For the last two postseasons, the Houston Astros have had to deal with the fallout from the sign-stealing scandal they admitted to being a part of back in 2017. The absences of fans in the stands last season allowed the Astros to escape from the profanity-laced insults and hatred that continued throughout social media and airwaves across the country in other baseball cities. Yet, through it, all Houston continued to do what they have done in the past. Stick together and win games as a unit that moves as one.

Sometimes life comes at you very hard and very fast. It is something you wish you could control, but I have learned that it is something you can’t. For the Houston Texans, they are trying to do their best to just get out of the whirlwind that this early 2020 NFL season has them in. Houston (0-3) dropped their third game of the season to the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0) losing in Heinz Field by a score of 28-21.

Thankful: Texans give fans a reason to be thankful after dominating the Patriots 28-22.
Thanksgiving came a little late this year in the city of Houston. The team reciprocated that love by defeating the reigning Super Bowl Champions, New England Patriots 28-22 in a prime-time Sunday night game played on NBC at NRG Stadium in front of a crowd of over 72,000 people in attendance.

On the Menu Today: REVENGE
If revenge is a dish best served cold, then the Houston Texans are trying to serve the New England Patriots a TV dinner that has been sitting in the freezer for over seven years. That was the last time the Texans defeated the Patriots (January 3, 2010). As they venture into a cold 29 degree Foxboro Stadium on Saturday, Houston will look to shock the world and come out with a victory over the number one AFC seeded New England Patriots.

Superman Returns Home
Michael Brantley returns back to Cleveland as a starter in the 2019 MLB All-Star Game
As I prepared to exit the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, I was stopped in my tracks mid-stride and paused for a second. What I was witnessing was something I was not prepared for, but definitely had been waiting all my life to see. Walking out of the last door at the north end of the airport, there is a nice montage of my childhood hero Superman. The fictional character was created during the 1930s and portrayed as a working-class citizen by day and crime fighter by night.
Same Story: Texans Lose Another Close Game
The last time the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans met in October, the Texans put on an offensive display that led them to a franchise record 57 points. Maybe they should have put some of those points in a safe deposit box to be used two months later. This past Sunday, the Texans lost to the Titans 24 – 13, and are 1- 4 since rookie QB Deshaun Watson went on injured reserve.

Astros Ace Should Change His Name To, “Zack Greinke, M.D.”
I think that Houston Astros starting pitcher Zack Greinke needs to add M.D. to the end of his name this season as he has had to operate from the mound in order to save the bullpen. Greinke pitched eight brilliant innings as the Houston Astros (28-24) was able to salvage the last game of the three-game series against the San Diego Padres (34-20) with a 7-4 victory.
