Houston Community College-Central came alive with joy and unity during its 2025 Juneteenth Celebration on Wednesday, June 18, hosted by the HCC Office of Student Life. Led by HCC-Central President Butch Herod and Communications Director Donald Parks, the event honored the legacy of freedom with an afternoon filled with food, music, and exciting giveaways. Students, faculty, and community members gathered to celebrate culture, history, and resilience, creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflected the spirit of Juneteenth.
