Miller Lite Tap the Future Live Pitch tour returns to Houston for the fifth consecutive year. Five semifinalists had the chance to pitch their business to the sharpest business minds in the country, including lead judge Daymond John from ABC’s “Shark Tank.” The semifinalist with the best business plan received $20,000 and advance to the national finals to compete against other regional finalists for a grand prize of $100,000. the judging panel included Daymond John, CEO of FUBU, co-host of ABC’s Shark Tank; Steve Canal, Manager, National Community Affairs, MillerCoors; Angelica Garcia-Dunn, President and CEO, AIM Global Logistics; and Sean O’Brien and Evan Wray, Co-founders of Swyft Media, former Tap the Future winners. The five Southwest-based regional semi-finalists were Lithic Nutrition – Aurora, CO; CatSpring Yaupon – Cat Spring, TX; RecChanges – San Antonio, TX; SHEDWOOL – Mountain Village, CO; and The Fishing Caddy - Olathe, KS.
