Houston-area families and chicken finger fans can help support children with critical illnesses this week while enjoying a meal at Raising Cane’s.
For the fifth consecutive year, Raising Cane’s is partnering with Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana to help grant wishes for children in the region. On Wednesday, September 16, participating Raising Cane’s restaurants will donate 15% of proceeds from customers who mention the Make-A-Wish fundraiser at checkout.
The fundraiser provides an opportunity for customers to support Make-A-Wish simply by choosing Raising Cane’s for a meal and mentioning the fundraiser when ordering.
The partnership is also making a local child’s wish come true. Raising Cane’s is sponsoring the wish of Hudson, a Make-A-Wish child whose dream is to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
Hudson’s Wish Reveal
Before Wednesday’s fundraiser, Hudson and his family will receive a special surprise at the Raising Cane’s restaurant in League City.
The restaurant, located at 2586 E. League City Pkwy., will host a wish reveal on Tuesday, September 15, at 5 p.m., where Hudson will learn that his Disney wish is coming true.
Raising Cane’s donated $10,000 to Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana in 2025. The ongoing partnership helps support the organization’s work granting wishes to children with critical illnesses.
Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana has granted more than 12,500 wishes to local children since its founding in 1984. During fiscal year 2025, the organization granted 650 wishes, a record for the chapter.
How to Participate
The fundraiser takes place Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at participating Raising Cane’s restaurants throughout the greater Texas Gulf Coast area.
Customers simply need to mention the Make-A-Wish fundraiser at checkout for 15% of their purchase to be donated to the organization.
Participating locations include restaurants throughout Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Richmond, Pearland, Pasadena, League City, Friendswood, Conroe, Spring, Humble, Baytown, Beaumont, Bryan, College Station, Waco, Killeen and other communities across the region.
For Houston-area residents, the fundraiser offers an easy way to turn a regular meal into support for children and families waiting for their wishes to come true.
