The Woodlands Resort and The Woodlands Pride are kicking off PRIDE weekend with Dinner, Drag and Dancing, a one-night celebration of love, inclusion and community on Thursday, October 29.
Hosted at Harrison’s inside The Woodlands Resort, the event will transform the venue into a 1990s-inspired ballroom featuring live drag performances, handcrafted cocktails, elevated bites and music designed to bring guests together in support of the LGBTQ+ community.
The evening begins with a welcome champagne toast, followed by a buffet-style dinner presented by The Woodlands Pride from 6 to 8 p.m. At 7 p.m., local drag artists Nadine Hughes, Sasha Frost, Chevelle Brooks and Violet Brooks will take the stage for performances celebrating drag artistry and entertainment.
Following the performances, DJ Furo will keep the celebration going with a mix of chart-topping hits, inviting guests to the dance floor through the evening.
Tickets are $65 per person and include the welcome champagne toast, dinner, a complimentary Campari cocktail and live entertainment. Attendees must be 21 or older. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Out for Education, supporting the organization’s work and extending the event’s community impact beyond the celebration.
Dinner, Drag and Dancing will take place from 6 to 11:30 p.m. Thursday, October 29, at The Woodlands Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, located at 2301 North Millbend Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77380.
