Houstonians looking for dining options this Valentine’s Day may want to consider Juliet HTX Steakhouse, which offers a weekly Thursday night dining experience that pairs live music with a fixed-price menu.
Live Music on Thursdays Available every Thursday evening, the steakhouse’s $59.95 three-course menu is accompanied by live saxophone music throughout the dining room. The format is designed to provide a relaxed yet polished atmosphere suitable for date nights, small celebrations, and special occasions such as Valentine’s Day.
Live saxophone performances feature a mix of jazz and contemporary selections, adding to the ambiance while remaining conducive to conversation. The experience is intended to enhance the meal without shifting focus away from the food or the dining company.
The three-course menu features a selection of classic steakhouse offerings. Appetizer choices include a Caesar salad topped with a sunny-side-up egg or a chopped salad, with optional add-ons such as Sweet Thai chile shrimp or a crab cake served with remoulade and béarnaise.
Entrée options include Cajun fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken thighs and shrimp, slow-braised bone-in short rib with roasted baby carrots and Yukon Gold whipped potatoes, and blackened salmon served with dirty rice risotto and lemon beurre blanc. A USDA Prime 7-ounce filet with whipped potatoes and seared broccolini is also available, with upgrade options including a Prime New York strip or bone-in ribeye. Additional toppings such as truffle butter, blue cheese, Alaskan king crab Oscar, and black truffled lobster are offered.
Dessert selections include warm butter cake with vanilla bean ice cream and strawberry compote, as well as snickerdoodle bread pudding served with dulce de leche ice cream, brown butter toffee, and crème anglaise.
