The Black Promoters Collective (BPC) has unveiled plans for The New Edition Way Tour, an ambitious 30-city concert series uniting three of R&B’s most iconic acts: New Edition, Boyz II Men, and Toni Braxton.
The tour launches on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Oakland Arena in California and will travel across major North American cities including Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and New York, before concluding on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Designed as a 360-degree concert experience, the event will deliver an immersive and up-close connection between the artists and their audiences.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday, October 31, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.com and participating venue box offices. Multiple presales are scheduled to run from October 27–30, including opportunities for American Express cardholders, New Edition fans, Spotify listeners, and Black Promoters Collective subscribers.
A Celebration of Legacy
The tour’s title, The New Edition Way, reflects the group’s recent hometown recognition in Boston, where a street was renamed in their honor. The distinction underscores New Edition’s cultural and musical influence and their role in shaping modern R&B and pop.
As one of the most enduring supergroups in music history, New Edition laid the foundation for the boy band era, inspiring acts such as New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, and later generations of pop performers. Collectively, the group’s members have achieved over 50 million albums sold, numerous American Music and Soul Train Awards, and multiple chart-topping hits.
Their individual accomplishments also continue to resonate across decades. Bobby Brown became a global superstar with his Don’t Be Cruel album, selling over 12 million copies worldwide. Ralph Tresvant achieved solo success with the No. 1 hit “Sensitivity.” The trio Bell Biv DeVoe—Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe—merged R&B and hip-hop on the classic “Poison.” Johnny Gill, who joined the group in its later years, earned acclaim for his powerful vocals on hits such as “My, My, My” and “Rub You the Right Way.”
An Unprecedented Collaboration
For the first time, New Edition and Boyz II Men—the latter originally discovered by Michael Bivins—will share the same stage. Boyz II Men’s smooth harmonies and emotionally charged ballads, including “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” and “One Sweet Day,” have earned them global acclaim, four Grammy Awards, and a place in music history as one of the best-selling vocal groups of all time.
Seven-time Grammy Award winner Toni Braxton joins the lineup, bringing her signature style and catalog of timeless hits such as “Un-Break My Heart,” “Breathe Again,” and “You’re Makin’ Me High.” With more than 70 million albums sold worldwide, Braxton remains one of R&B’s most successful and distinctive artists.
Together, New Edition, Boyz II Men, and Toni Braxton represent nearly 200 million albums sold and a legacy that continues to shape popular music across generations. The New Edition Way Tour stands as a celebration of artistry, endurance, and the unifying power of R&B.
