Frontier Airlines has launched new nonstop service from George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI), marking the first of several route expansions this week. Service to Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport (DTW) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) begins tomorrow, followed by weekly nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) on Saturday.
The expansion from Houston reinforces Frontier’s goal of becoming the leading low-fare carrier in the top 20 U.S. metro areas, with 23 destinations now accessible nonstop from IAH. To celebrate the new routes, the airline is offering fares starting at $29.
New service from George Bush Intercontinental Airport includes three flights per week to Baltimore, Detroit, and Philadelphia, with introductory fares ranging from $29 to $69. Fort Lauderdale service will operate once weekly with fares starting at $29. Flight schedules and frequencies are subject to change.
Frontier has introduced a series of product and service enhancements under its “The New Frontier” initiative. UpFront Plus seating offers extra legroom and guaranteed empty middle seats in the first two rows, while the airline’s most loyal customers now have access to unlimited companion travel. First Class seating, set to debut in early 2026, will provide additional comfort at Frontier’s signature affordable prices.
The airline’s frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, allows customers to earn rewards for every dollar spent, with accelerated earning rates at higher elite tiers. The program also permits family pooling of miles for elite members, making it easier for families to earn and redeem rewards together. Membership in FRONTIER Miles is free.
Promotional fares must be purchased by December 3, 2025, for nonstop travel on select days through February 28, 2026. Certain blackout dates apply, and a 21-day advance purchase is required. All travel is subject to Frontier Airlines’ standard terms and conditions.
