Global K-Pop phenomenon Rodnae “CHIKK” Bell is making her triumphant return to the live stage—and she’s bringing her unstoppable energy to The Bronze Peacock at House of Blues Houston alongside Houston’s own rising rap star LaNell “Nell” Grant. The electrifying album release concert takes place Friday, May 30, 2025, at 7 PM, and promises to be a night fans won’t forget.

Known for her genre-blending sound and staggering international success, CHIKK is a force in the K-Pop world. From her first trip to South Korea, where she scored two No. 1 singles, to achieving over one billion streams across her songwriting catalog, CHIKK’s influence is global, undeniable, and ever-growing.

The Houston concert will mark a spiritual and artistic milestone for CHIKK as she joins Nell Grant’s 90-minute album release celebration as a featured performer. The powerhouse duo will premiere their collaborative tracks live, including their much-anticipated single, “Flee,” which also boasts an upcoming music video release this spring.

“This is a God moment for me,” CHIKK shared. “To return to the stage in Houston and to do it with another Kingdom Creative is a divine appointment.”

A protégé of Grammy-winning producer Harvey Mason, Jr. (credits include Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber), and the daughter of a creatively gifted mother whose career intersected with legends like Lauryn Hill and Michael Jackson, CHIKK is rooted in artistic greatness.

She was nominated for a VMA Best K-Pop Song in 2023 for her work on Aespa’s “Girls,” and most recently penned the emotional comeback hit “Crazier” for K-Pop icon BoA Kwon.

“BoA and I first connected in Los Angeles seven years ago,” CHIKK revealed. “Reuniting with her now feels spirit-led—our new music is made from sisterhood and love, and I can’t wait for the world to feel that.”

Looking ahead, CHIKK is preparing to release her second solo EP, “Women at the Well,” this fall—a deeply personal tribute to women of faith waiting on divine love. Beyond the stage, her commitment to building the future of global music is evident through her mentorship initiative, Chikk’s K-Popo Academy, and her management company, Sounds of Selah, which focuses on elevating the next wave of K-Pop talent.
