Harmony Public Schools Secures Historic $25 Million Grant to Expand High-Quality STEM Education Across Texas

Texas-based charter school network to open new campuses in underserved communities by 2030

Harmony Public Schools, one of Texas’ largest and most successful public charter school systems, has secured a record-breaking $25 million grant from the Charter School Growth Fund (CSGF). This landmark investment is the largest single grant ever awarded by CSGF and will fuel the development of new Harmony campuses throughout Texas through 2030.

This transformative funding will enable Harmony to expand its proven, STEM-focused education model to thousands of additional students in high-need communities across the state. With demand for high-quality public education continuing to rise, the expansion will help bridge educational gaps and provide greater access to college-ready, future-focused learning environments.

The Charter School Growth Fund is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that supports the growth of high-performing charter school networks. Its mission centers on identifying schools with strong academic performance and leadership and helping them expand their reach through strategic funding and capacity-building initiatives. The organization places a strong emphasis on increasing educational equity in underserved areas.

This latest investment builds on a previous $12.95 million grant CSGF awarded Harmony in 2022, which supported the launch and growth of campuses across Greater Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, and West Texas. Since then, Harmony has cemented its reputation as a statewide leader in public education, currently operating more than 60 campuses in 23 cities.

As part of its continued growth, Harmony will open new campuses later this year in Cypress, Georgetown, Leander, Midland, Odessa, San Antonio, and Spring. These expansions reflect the momentum generated by CSGF’s historic grant and the increasing demand for Harmony’s innovative education model.

Founded in Texas, Harmony Public Schools serves students from PreK through 12th grade across major regions including Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, Waco, Lubbock, Midland-Odessa, Bryan, Beaumont, and the Rio Grande Valley. Its curriculum emphasizes STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), character development, project-based learning, and college readiness—empowering students to reach their full academic and personal potential.

Enrollment and employment opportunities are now open for the 2025–2026 academic year. More information is available at www.HarmonyTX.org.
