Frost Bank, one of Texas’s oldest and most respected financial institutions, has officially opened its 200th financial center statewide in Pflugerville, Texas. The new Frost Pflugerville Financial Center, located at 18725 FM 685, Suite 160, represents a significant milestone in the bank’s statewide expansion strategy.
This new branch is the 24th Frost location in the Austin region and part of an ongoing expansion that began in 2018 to double Frost’s presence across Central Texas. While many banks are closing branches, Frost is growing its physical footprint to better serve communities with in-person service.
A Blend of Modern Banking and Texas Tradition
The Pflugerville Financial Center features Frost’s latest design innovations, including a greeter station for personalized assistance with deposits, account services, and loan applications. Customers also have access to a smart ATM, available during lobby hours, offering envelope-free deposits with detailed receipts.
True to its Texas roots, the branch includes historic state maps and black-and-white Texas photography, blending modern functionality with regional heritage. The design reflects Frost’s ongoing mission to provide high-tech convenience without sacrificing its signature customer care.
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
Tim Crowley, President of Frost’s Austin Region, acknowledged the team’s role in achieving this historic milestone. “Everyone in Frost’s Austin region—whether from legacy branches or new centers—has contributed to this remarkable achievement,” he said.
Frost plans to celebrate the Pflugerville branch opening with a community event in the coming weeks, marking its 200th location in Texas.
