Portillo’s, the fast-casual restaurant chain known for its Chicago-style street food, has announced plans to open a new location in Humble, Texas. The upcoming restaurant will join the brand’s existing Houston-area locations in Richmond, Katy, and Willowbrook.

The new site will be located at the northeast corner of Highway 59/I-69 and FM 1960, adjacent to Deerbrook Mall. It will feature Portillo’s “Restaurant of the Future” design, a smaller-footprint build spanning approximately 6,250 square feet. The space will include indoor and outdoor seating for around 160 guests, along with signature elements such as double drive-thru lanes, a Grab and Go area, and Portillo’s Pick Up shelves to support off-premise dining.

The Humble location is expected to open later this year. Guests will be able to enjoy the chain’s popular menu items, including Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Char-Grilled Burgers, and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake.
