Rosenberg, TX – Fort Bend County Health & Human Services is calling on the community to step up and be heroes at its upcoming Community Blood Drive, happening Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at 4520 Reading Road in Rosenberg. This life-saving initiative, hosted in partnership with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, is more than just a blood drive—it's a movement to give back and uplift those in urgent need of transfusions.

Blood donations play a critical role in hospitals and emergency care units across Texas, especially during the summer months when donations often dwindle. A single pint of blood can save up to three lives, making every donor a direct contributor to someone’s survival and recovery.

In appreciation of their generosity, all donors will receive a free beach towel and refreshments, perfect for beating the Texas heat while doing something meaningful. Whether you're a first-time donor or a seasoned giver, walk-ins are welcome, and online registration is also available to streamline the process.

"We’re not just collecting blood—we’re building a stronger, healthier Fort Bend County," said a representative from Fort Bend County Health & Human Services. "Your simple act of giving can become someone else’s second chance."

Don’t miss this chance to make a powerful impact in your community. Donate blood. Save lives. Give hope.
