Commissioner Lesley Briones, in collaboration with Harris County Public Health, is providing free measles vaccinations to children and adults across Precinct 4 in response to a growing outbreak of the disease in Texas. The effort aims to increase community protection by offering accessible, no-cost vaccines at local community centers throughout April.
Mobile health units will be stationed at multiple sites to administer the vaccines. The program is designed to serve both children and adults and plays a key role in limiting the spread of the highly contagious virus.
Appointments are strongly encouraged to manage demand and ensure smooth service. Residents can schedule a time by calling 832-927-7350.
