On last week, R&B superstar and accomplished actor Tyrese Gibson took to Instagram to "Please, Please, Please, I am asking you to put some respect on my name, Dr. Gibson is here." Known for his work in music and entertainment, Tyrese received an honorary doctorate in humanity on Sunday, August 25, 2024 in Stockbridge, GA. He also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden, a great nod to his many accomplishments in the industry. His infectious smile could be seen all around social media as supporters and event goers shared footage of the event. Tyrese is no stranger when it comes to professing his faith in God and expressing the importance of vulnerability especially as a man. 




Alongside Dr. Gibson, there were several industry executives and celebrities who received the prestigious accolade including: Award-Winning Comedian and Radio Host Rickey Smiley, D-Nice, Claudia Jordan, Raheem DeVaughn, just to name a few.
