Holocaust Museum Houston (HMH) will kick off Latinx Heritage Month with a Day of Action on Saturday, September 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., celebrating Latinx history, identity, and culture. The free, bilingual event includes family-friendly activities, museum tours, voter registration, and panel discussions.

Visitors can explore the University of Houston’s Latino cARTographies interactive digital board, on display through December 12. The day’s entertainment lineup features performances, a film screening of "Dolores," lectures, and panel discussions on Latinx issues and STEM education.

Additional events include a lecture by Dr. Mark Goldberg on September 18 and a Día de los Muertos Community Altar Workshop on October 5.

HMH is the nation’s first fully bilingual Holocaust museum, located at 5401 Caroline Street. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $22 for adults, $16 for seniors, and free for visitors 18 and under, college students, and all visitors on Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is available for $8.
