On Saturday, December 7, from 10:30 to 11:30 am, the Sugar Land Branch Library, located at 550 Eldridge, will host an enlightening session titled "A Chat About Artificial Intelligence (AI)." This is your chance to demystify the buzzword that’s dominating global conversations and learn how it’s transforming lives—right here in Houston!  

Leading the Charge: Dr. Fideles Ngang  

The session will be led by none other than Dr. Fideles Ngang, a powerhouse in the fields of Computer Systems Networking, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence. A professor at Houston Community College, Dr. Ngang has played a pivotal role in shaping the AI academic landscape in Texas. Back in 2020, he spearheaded the introduction of AI as a field of study at HCC, launching an associate’s degree program. Fast forward to today, that program has evolved into a robust bachelor’s degree in applied technology in AI and robotics. Talk about vision!
