Higher Dimension Church Opens New Katy Campus, Welcoming the Community to Worship, Connection, and Growth

After years of prayer, planning, and perseverance, Higher Dimension Church (HDC) is set to celebrate the Grand Opening of its new Katy campus this Sunday, November 17. This milestone marks a significant expansion for the church and a dream come true for its Katy community, which has long awaited a permanent place to worship, connect, and grow.

The Grand Opening event kicks off at 10:00 AM with a powerful worship service, followed by campus tours, refreshments, and exciting giveaways for attendees. Located at 1350 North Mason Road, the new Katy campus boasts 14,500 square feet of beautifully renovated space on nearly five acres, perfectly situated off I-10 West and Mason Road, close to Katy Mills Mall and Highway 99. With seating for 300 and ample room for future expansion, the campus is ready to welcome the community into a new era of fellowship and faith.

A Vision Realized: Higher Dimension’s Journey to a Permanent Home

The journey to this new campus has been nothing short of inspiring. For over 15 years, Higher Dimension Church has served the Katy area from temporary locations, each one a stepping stone towards the vision of a permanent home. From gathering in schools and storefronts to worshipping at the Steve Raddack Community Center, the HDC congregation has shown resilience and faith every step of the way. Now, with over 1,000 members strong, the church has finally found its home in Katy, and the excitement is palpable.

Pastor Terrance H. Johnson, founding pastor of HDC, is thrilled to open the doors to the new space. “Our new campus is a tremendous blessing, and we are thrilled to welcome our Katy family and everyone in the community to a new home with so much to offer,” he said. “Higher Dimension Church is passionate about building community and supporting individuals and families in every aspect of life, throughout the Greater Houston Area. This new facility has been a long time coming. We’re looking forward to expanding our services and growing alongside the Katy community for many years to come.”

A Community-Centered Campus Designed for Growth and Connection

The new campus is thoughtfully designed with families and youth in mind, reflecting HDC’s commitment to serving every generation. From increased capacity for children’s programming to dedicated spaces for middle and high school students, the new Katy campus provides a robust environment for mentorship, youth ministry, and family engagement. The expansive property includes two playgrounds, a small paved walking trail, and green spaces that invite families to linger, connect, and enjoy the surroundings.

Inside, attendees will find updated classrooms, modern fixtures, and brand-new furnishings that enhance the warm, welcoming atmosphere HDC is known for. This space is more than just a building—it’s a place for individuals to find encouragement, families to strengthen their bonds, and the community to come together in fellowship.

25 Years of Inspiration and Empowerment

With 25 years of dedicated service to the Greater Houston Area, Higher Dimension Church has become a guiding light for thousands, impacting lives through transformative ministries that address real-life issues. Led by Pastor Johnson and First Lady Torsha Johnson, HDC’s faith-based teachings empower individuals and families to lead fulfilling lives by addressing topics like relationships, finances, mental health, and spiritual well-being.

The church’s mission extends far beyond Sunday services. HDC offers a wide range of programs and resources designed to uplift and inspire, from dynamic worship experiences to outreach initiatives that support the community. The new Katy campus is another step in this legacy of love and service, providing a dedicated space for individuals to explore their faith and find a sense of belonging.
