The first of the two new restaurants will be situated in Richmond, located at The Grand at Aliana – a vibrant open-air lifestyle center renowned for its premier shopping experiences. Spanning 7,700 square feet, the restaurant will boast a Southwest garage theme, accommodating approximately 170 guests indoors and offering seating for nearly 50 guests on its seasonal outdoor patio. Additionally, guests can expect the convenience of Portillo’s signature double drive-thru lanes.

Furthermore, Portillo’s will make its mark at Willowbrook Mall, one of Houston's top shopping destinations. This location, designed as one of the brand's innovative Restaurant of the Future concepts, will feature a rustic Southwest garage theme within its 6,000-square-foot space. With seating for around 130 guests indoors and nearly 40 guests on the seasonal outdoor patio, along with a pickup area and double drive-thru lane, guests can enjoy their favorite Portillo’s offerings with ease.

Portillo’s CEO Michael Osanloo expressed excitement about the expansion, stating, “We’ve loved serving our fans in the great state of Texas ever since we first opened in Dallas last January. We’re thrilled to expand into Houston, and we can’t wait to bring our unrivaled Chicago street food to a brand-new market in the Lone Star State.”
