Proudly sponsored by H-E-B, the 2024 HBCU College Fair, hosted by the Houston HBCU Alumni Association, promises an unforgettable experience for students and parents alike. Kickoff Event: Join us on Friday, March 1st, from 4 pm to 6 pm, for an electrifying kickoff event featuring celebrity judges and HBCU tables. With appearances by Texas Radio Hall of Famer "Funky" Larry Jones, Dorcaus Robinson (Houston Sun), and Keith Davis, Sr. (D-Mars Newsmagazine), this event sets the stage for an unforgettable weekend.
Virtual Address from the US Dept. of Education Secretary: Dr. Miguel Cardona will deliver a virtual address, highlighting the importance of higher education and the role of HBCUs in shaping future leaders.
Recruitment Opportunities: Interact with HBCU recruiters from across the nation, who are dedicated to showcasing the diverse programs and opportunities available at their institutions.
Band & Music Auditions: Are you musically inclined? National HBCU Band Directors will conduct auditions, offering students the chance to showcase their talent and potentially secure scholarships.
