Fort Bend County Libraries' First Colony Branch Library is excited to announce an introductory yoga asana class on Saturday, June 29, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon. The session will take place in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2121 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land.

Discover the Benefits of Yoga with Expert Instruction

Led by experienced yoga instructor Ramakrishnan Sethuraman, this beginner-friendly class will guide participants through essential yoga poses and proper alignment. Additionally, attendees will learn effective breathing exercises designed to calm the mind and prepare for meditation. With ten years of yoga practice and six months of teaching experience, Sethuraman brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for sharing the benefits of yoga.

Perfect for All Skill Levels

No prior yoga experience is necessary to join this class. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a complete novice, you will find this session both accessible and rewarding. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, although mats will be provided for those who do not have one.
