BMW is set to electrify Pebble Beach Automotive Week with the North American debut of the 2025 BMW M5 sedan and the world premiere of the 2025 BMW M5 Touring. This event, led by BMW M CEO Frank van Meel, will showcase BMW’s blend of high-performance legacy and future-forward technology.
A Grand Unveiling
On August 15th, at 10:30 AM PT, the all-new, electrified 2025 BMW M5 will be unveiled at the Lodge at Pebble Beach. The event, hosted by racing driver and broadcaster Justin Bell, will be a spectacle featuring a parade of all six previous generations of the M5, culminating in the reveal of the new models. The M5 Touring, a beloved model now available to North American enthusiasts, will also make its grand debut.
Performance Meets Utility
Both the 2025 M5 sedan and M5 Touring promise an exhilarating blend of luxury and power. The electrified M5 features an M Hybrid drivetrain, combining a TwinPower Turbo V8 engine with an electric motor, delivering a staggering 717 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. This setup propels the M5 sedan from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 190 mph when equipped with the optional M Driver’s Package. Additionally, the M5 offers an estimated 25 miles of electric-only driving on a full charge.
