The next Silent Reading Party, titled “Wandering Words: An Exploration of Stories Through Music, Art, & Movement,” is set to take place on Saturday, July 27, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at George Memorial Library (1001 Golfview in Richmond). This event promises a unique blend of literature and live music, creating a serene environment perfect for reading and relaxation.

Immerse Yourself in a World of Stories

Attendees are invited to bring their favorite book to enjoy an hour of silent reading accompanied by a live performance of curated pop rock, indie, folk, and acoustic music by the talented Garage Arts Project. The event will conclude with captivating performances by harpist Hope Cowan, Bharatanatyam classical dancer Sandhya Raghuraman, and Indian classical singer Mahalakshmi Krishnan. These performances will enhance the cultural experience, leaving attendees with a sense of fulfillment and inspiration.

Connect and Reflect

Much like a book club, Silent Reading Parties offer a space for like-minded individuals to connect and discuss their literary passions. This event is perfect for those who love to read but struggle to find the time, providing a dedicated hour to immerse themselves in a good book and engage in enriching conversations.
