In a landmark decision, an unlicensed Spring Valley chiropractor, Stuart Fraser White, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison without parole for the molestation of children almost a decade ago. Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg announced this significant development, underscoring the commitment to safeguarding the community's most vulnerable members.

District Attorney Kim Ogg emphasized the importance of seeking justice for child victims, stating, "Our children are the most vulnerable victims in our community, and when they are hurt or abused, especially by someone they should be able to trust, it is our duty to seek justice for them."

Stuart Fraser White, 66, who operated as a chiropractor without a valid license in Texas, received the 25-year sentence after a Harris County jury found him guilty of super aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of six. The verdict followed a comprehensive 14-day jury trial that concluded in December.

The jury's decision was based on evidence that White had abused a 5-year-old female relative at his residence in Spring Valley. The case originated in 2014 when the child disclosed the abuse, leading to White's arrest. The trial revealed additional incidents and other victims, establishing a pattern of predatory behavior.

Convicted in December, White faced the possibility of life in prison without parole. Opting for the judge to determine his sentence, he now faces imprisonment until the age of 91.

Assistant District Attorney Denise Nichols, chief of the DA’s Crimes Against Children Division, played a crucial role in prosecuting the case. Nichols highlighted the severity of such crimes, stating, "The legislature gave this type of crime such a high minimum because they felt it was a very serious offense that deserved strict punishment."

The commitment to expeditiously addressing cases of child molestation is evident in the district attorney's office, which has bolstered its Crimes Against Children Division with additional prosecutors to accelerate trial processes.
