Harmony Public Schools Department of Communications & Marketing Shines with 51 Awards from TSPRA*

Harmony Public Schools' Department of Communications & Marketing has once again made waves in the realm of school communications and marketing, clinching an impressive total of 51 awards at the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) annual awards ceremony held in Sugar Land, Texas on February 28, 2024.

TSPRA, known for honoring excellence in school communications and marketing across various media categories, recognized Harmony Public Schools for their outstanding achievements. Harmony Public Schools made history in 2021 by becoming the first Texas public charter school to earn a coveted Star Award from TSPRA. In just three short years, the department has emerged as a powerhouse in school PR, with its 51 awards placing it among the top contenders in the state.

Harmony's accolades include an impressive array of 24 gold awards, 20 silver awards, four bronze awards, two "best of" awards, and a finalist nomination for a Crystal Commendation. John Boyd, Chief Communications & Marketing Officer at Harmony, expressed gratitude for the recognition, highlighting Harmony's unique story and the team's commitment to spreading positive school culture throughout the system.

"It's an honor to be recognized by our TSPRA colleagues across Texas for the impactful work we do at Harmony," said Boyd. "We take great pride in sharing our story and fostering a culture of excellence within our schools."

The talented individuals recognized from Harmony across various categories include Chief Communications & Marketing Officer John Boyd, along with district directors, communications managers, marketing managers, videographers, photographers, graphic designers, and webmasters, each contributing to Harmony's success story.

This latest achievement adds to Harmony's impressive track record, having also been awarded 20 accolades last summer from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), including the prestigious Golden Achievement Award.
