Controversial Statue Installation Sparks Community Outcry at University of Houston

In a clandestine operation, an 8-foot-tall statue purportedly celebrating abortion and honoring Ruth Bader Ginsburg was surreptitiously brought to the University of Houston main campus under the cover of night last Thursday, ahead of its scheduled installation on February 28th. The move, perceived by many as an attempt to preempt potential protests, has ignited a firestorm of controversy within the community.

Described as a "satanic golden medusa" with tentacle-like arms, the statue's design has drawn sharp criticism for its unsettling imagery. Adorned with hair parted in the middle and twisted into braids reminiscent of goat horns, reminiscent of the baphomet, the statue has evoked widespread condemnation for its perceived glorification of child sacrifice.

Voicing their concerns and disgust, members of the community are calling upon individuals to express their objections to the statue's presence, particularly on a public university campus supported by taxpayer dollars.

In response to the installation, a peaceful prayer vigil is planned for TOMORROW, FEBRUARY 13TH, AT 3PM at the Cullen Family Plaza. Parking will be available at the University of Houston Welcome Center located at 4400 University Dr, Houston, TX 77004.
